Maria joined TheSpyAnts in 2003 and has appeared in critically-acclaimed productions of Terminus Americana, Hellcab and La Ronde, as well as the award-nominated The Birds.

She also played Gabriela in the LA premiere of Jose Rivera's References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot (directed by Jon Rivera) for which she was nominated Best Actress by the Ticket Holder Awards. For NYC & east coast stages, Maria has appeared in Oleanna, The Owl and The Pussycat, Stop Kiss, A Woman of No Importance and A Chorus of Disapproval, among many others.

Recent tv/film credits include Mystery ER for the Discovery Channel and several indies including The Gay Bed and Breakfast of Terror (currently enjoying worldwide distribution), Nearlife and Inconvenient Appliances, which is currently playing the festival circuit.
